Build is our strength-based class. Strength requires dedicated attention and care for success, so it's essential to have sessions focused solely on this purpose. By using compound movements such as the squat, bench, and deadlift as our main lifts, our programs will allow you to progressively get stronger over a 12-week block.

  • Our Upper Body sessions focus on strength through push and pull exercises. These workouts include assistance exercises and hypertrophy training to build muscle and enhance overall upper body power.

  • Lower Body sessions target strength through squat and hinge movement patterns. These classes incorporate assistance exercises and hypertrophy training to develop robust and powerful lower body muscles.

  • Whole Body sessions are designed to enhance the central nervous system's strength through compound exercises. These workouts aim to develop overall body strength and coordination.

  • Focuses on teaching and improving the techniques and strength required for olympic weightlifting. Alongside plyometrics and explosive movements for athletic development.

engine

Engine is our cardiovascular-based classes, designed to develop your energy system and enable you to take on more work. This program offers a great workout to get leaner and make you incredibly fit along the way. Engine sessions are developed using the Concept 2 Ergs, featuring low-impact movements to ensure you can return for more.

  • These sessions involve longer, hard efforts that teach you to get comfortable being uncomfortable. We will work around your maximal lactate steady state to develop a supercharged engine.

  • These shorter, harder intervals are designed to develop your ability to generate power quickly and efficiently.

  • Medium distance intervals challenge you to tap into your glucose and oxygen stores, significantly boosting your fitness levels.

  • These sessions combine the Ergs with functional movements to dramatically enhance your muscular endurance.

hybrid

Our Hybrid classes combines elements from our Build and Engine classes, creating a unique workout experience. These sessions focus on building your capacity to move functionally while under fatigue.

In addition to physical training, our Hybrid sessions foster fun competition, team building, and a strong sense of community and teamwork.

  • Saturdays at LFG Training are all about hard work and community with our exhilarating "Send It Saturdays." These sessions are designed to push you to your limits and leave it all on the floor. They involve longer, intense efforts that teach you to get comfortable being uncomfortable, working around your maximal lactate steady state. Similar to our Hybrid workouts, these team-based sessions require a big effort from everyone to get the job done, creating a strong sense of camaraderie. Our Hyrox classes offer race-specific training designed to build strength, speed, and endurance for the ultimate fitness challenge.  As an official Hyrox affiliate, we provide expert coaching, event preparation, and workouts tailored to help you dominate your next competition.

James leads a team of highly trained coaches who are dedicated to helping you maximise each session. Our small group training ensures that coaches can closely monitor your form and provide personalised progressions or regressions. Whether it's adjusting load, intensity, speed, body position, range of motion, or adapting an exercise, our coaches are committed to keeping you on track and making consistent progress.

Focus on attending the Build classes. Alongside strength gains, you can pack on muscle by following a quality diet plan that prioritises protein. The 15-minute blasts at the end of each session will keep you fit. Complement these classes with some low-intensity steady-state work, such as biking and walking, in your own time.

Focus on attending the Engine classes. The 15-minute weight top-ups at the end of each session will help maintain your muscle. Ensure you are well-fuelled for the workouts with a focus on hydration.
